In Michigan, a marriage license can only be obtained at a Michigan County Clerk's office. Michigan residents and non-residents can be married in Michigan with a Michigan marriage license.
Michigan residents apply for a marriage license in the county that either the bride or groom lives.
Non-residents, who plan to be married at Teacup Wedding, apply for a marriage license in Washtenaw County.
For any questions related to your Michigan marriage license, we always refer couples to the County Clerk's office where their license was/will be issued.

No particular vows or oath are required. The parties merely solemnly declare that they take each other as husband and wife before at least two witnesses and the person officiating. After which, the Marriage License is completed by signatures of the Officiant and the witnesses.
