Michigan Off-Site Officiant Services
Our off-Site Officiant services includes the following:
Upon receipt of your reservation you will be provided with:
"Teacup Wedding Ceremony Selections: Traditional, Spiritual and Contemporary", from which you will choose the style of ceremony, vows and ring exchange that you prefer, as well as, unity candle, sand, blessing stone or flower ceremony options, and readings: poetry, scripture and wedding appropriate passages (should you prefer that these components be included in your ceremony).
We encourage couples who have desires to share their personally written vows, to write and share them with each other during their ceremony, in addition to the beautiful selections offered by our Officiant, or as their exclusive sharing.
If you choose to share your personally written vows exclusively, your ceremony will conclude with our Officiant addressing the legal questions required prior to pronouncing you as a married couple. Custom ceremonies written specifically for each couple are not an offering of Teacup Wedding Officiant services.
On the day of your wedding:
• Teacup Wedding Officiant, Karla Groesbeck, will arrive at the agreed upon location 30 - 45 minutes prior to the ceremony, prepared to perform your selected ceremony.
• Solemnization of valid Michigan Marriage license will take place by our Officiant immediately prior to, or following, the marriage ceremony.
• Delivery of Marriage License to County Clerk.
Off-site services do not include a ceremony rehearsal, or planning of rehearsal details. Please request the assistance of your venue coordinator or wedding planner. A copy of your ceremony will be provided to you prior to your rehearsal, if desired.
Off-Site Officiant Services Fee - $300.00
An in-person meeting prior to (or after) securing services, is not desired by all couples, therefore the "Off-site Officiant Service" fee does not include "meet and greet" interviews. It is not possible, time-wise, to accommodate this type of meeting with couples in their decision making process. A conference call via telephone can easily be scheduled, prior to securing services.
If a couple feels the need for an in-person meeting prior to (or after) securing services, a meeting can be scheduled with our Officiant at Teacup Wedding, or at the proposed ceremony location, for a fee of $75.00
